As we celebrate our fifth anniversary and approach the significant milestone of half a billion pounds in lending, I’ve been reflecting on what has truly driven our growth. It isn’t just about having competitive rates or a broad product range, it’s about a philosophy that sits at the very heart of our brand: transparency.

We completed a tailored commercial bridging finance facility for £1.68m to support the creation of a multi-unit business park dedicated to local SMEs in Falmouth, Cornwall.

This year’s theme is the B&C Awards Drive-In. Hosted at The Willows, the ceremony will transform into a 1950s dream, blending Britain’s own rock ’n’ roll era with classic Americana. Think jukebox tunes, dance-hall swagger, moggies and hot rods, and silver-screen sparkle. Expect milkshakes with your martinis, a touch of roller-skate glamour, and a night where the industry’s biggest stars take centre stage.

Conference season is over. The political dust has settled. Kemi Badenoch emerged as the biggest winner this year. She may not have moved the needle in the polls, but she saw off Robert Jenrick’s freelancing and secured her leadership position… for now.
